2019-05-23

Ordinary world is a one million word novel created by Chinese writer Lu Yao. Based on the ten years from the mid-1970s to the mid-1980s in China, the book depicts the images of many ordinary people at all levels of society through complex contradictions and disputes, focusing on the two brothers sun Shaoan and Sun Shaoping; Labor and love, frustration and pursuit, pain and joy, daily life and huge social conflicts are intertwined, which deeply shows the difficult and tortuous road that ordinary people have gone through in the historical process of the great era.

In March 1991, ordinary world won the third Mao Dun Literature Award in China.

Ordinary world is a myth created by Lu Yao for Chinese literature. It is not only a novel world presented in front of us, but also a door to the spiritual world. The pattern of life has changed: empty, broad, hard, soft and realistic. It is a comprehensive work. (from Sogou Encyclopedia)

In junior high school, I was introduced to this book for the first time. Not long after reading it, I was deeply attracted by the story in the book. My heart was also full of mixed feelings. Some felt the same feelings, some lamented the unfair fate, and more deeply moved by the self-improvement of sun Shaoan and Sun Shaoping brothers in the book, not overwhelmed by setbacks and the spirit of fighting against fate. Naturally and imperceptibly, I learned from the brothers intentionally or unintentionally, learned their fighting spirit and down-to-earth style, and applied it in my future study and work.

Life is a process of continuous learning and progress. In this process, there is not only the comfort of plain sailing, but also an endless stream of setbacks and difficulties. If you feel depressed and afraid to move forward, what else can make people forge ahead?

Life is like a journey. There are not only picturesque scenery, but also many unexpected emergencies along the way. However, it is precisely because of this that this journey has more significance. If people in life, every day as expected, as smooth as the wind and water, like planned life, today will know tomorrow's things, so every day, isn't it boring?

In our work, "ordinary world" is more worthy of our learning. The spirit of Sun Shaoping and sun Shaoan who are not afraid of difficulties and rise to difficulties is the professional spirit pursued by our enterprise. At work, we often encounter unpredictable difficulties. If we are afraid of hardship and are unwilling to calm down and concentrate on studying, practicing and solving problems, it can be said that it is heaven's night talk.

Ordinary world is a literary work that eulogizes ordinary workers in a warm and realistic way. This novel not only shows the difficult living conditions of ordinary little people, but also tries to write their beautiful heart and indomitable struggle spirit to overcome many difficulties. The protagonists sun Shaoan and Sun Shaoping in the works are young people struggling on the poverty line, but they constantly strive for self-improvement, rely on their own tenacious perseverance to fight against fate and pursue their own moral perfection. Among them, sun Shaoan is a striver who is based on the local land and is determined to change his destiny; Sun Shaoping is a "runner" with modern civilization knowledge and eager to integrate into the city. Their stories constitute the bipolar experience of life struggle of ordinary people in Chinese society. Their growth experience not only has high spiritual meaning for our study and work, but also has high guiding value for us to educate new people and train the next generation.

Mr. Lu Yao's ordinary world is worth reading!
